CrossFit Hale Barbell Club
This class is
focused on developing your skills in olympic weightlifting, specifically the snatch and
clean and jerk. These two movements can be difficult to learn and master, so the class
focuses on the skills and drills required to develop the necessary strength, power, and
flexibility to perform them well.
The programming for this session will be different than the other group classes, and will
often involve skills leading up to heavy attempts in the different movements. Many of the
ideas are shared with or borrowed from world class olympic lifting coaches and athletes such
as Chad Vaughn (video below), who also writes programming for our sister gym CrossFit
Thames.
